Since 1996, Howard and Kim Grindle have enjoyed extending friendship and hospitality to George Mason University international students as the Directors of Friends In Deed. The many friendships that we have made over the past thirteen years have not only broadened our understanding and appreciation of other cultures, but have enriched our lives and family as students have so graciously reciprocated our small acts of kindness.
Professionally, Howard is a Corporate Senior Tax Manager for Network Solutions. Kim is a full time mother of four and home schools our three older children.
We are continually grateful to the many American Friendship Partners who share our vision of unconditional friendship and to George Mason University's Office of International Programs and Services (OIPS) without whose support and cooperation this program would not be possible. Together we welcome all international students and eagerly anticipate building bridges of friendship across the world.
